I'm a little late to the party this year. I should have told you about this sooner. But better late than never, I suppose.

My friend, Alison Stripling of Cornerstone Creative, is the brains behind the Social Media Summit 2015. She started it last year and was kind enough (or crazy enough – you decide) to include me on the special panel. I was the black sheep. You can see me in the picture above.

That's where I caused a few jaws to drop:

• “I don't care about Google!”
• “I'm not here to please everybody.”
• “Nobody cares about you!”

I'm sure that's why I'm not on this year's panel!

Nevertheless, the Social Media Summit 2015 is next week, Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 5:30 PM at Laptop Lounge in Walnut Creek, California. You can find out more here, including the dynamite panel (it would be better if I were on it, but the world will go on without me).

By the way, with any luck, I'll be there. And they may just let me in.
