Is it ever too late (or early) to plan? I don't think so. You just set aside some time to map out your goals and how you will achieve them, put them out there as far away as you need, and then do it!
Right?
I mean, setting a goal to lose 50 pounds by tomorrow is unrealistic. But in 6 months? Yeah, it will be hard, but you can do it. It's achievable. And good for you (if you're overweight by 50+ pounds, of course).
We've all read or heard or maybe even practiced SMART goal setting. Basically, goals have to be:
- Specific
- Measurable
- Achievable
- Realistic
- Time-bound

We all need a little help now and again, right? I know some really smart people (you're one of them, right?) and they all get assistance from time to time.
Even the “best” or “most successful” “gurus” have go-to people. They often belong to Masterminds.
Did you know? The term “mastermind” grew from Napoleon Hill's “Think & Grow Rich” book. Hill learned of the concept from Andrew Carnegie. What Hill said:

Summary: 1 + 1 > 2, or “synergy.” There is a multiplier effect that comes about when a group of people get together. Usually, like what we see every “Black Friday,” we see people come together in mobs and do bad things.
But when people come together to improve themselves really good things can happen.

There are plans to stream and record the meetups so that everybody can benefit from them. We have to work out the kinks (mostly a slow wi-fi connection where we do our meetups).
