Here's a nifty way to add unique, high-quality content to your own site – from my friend Paul Myers:

One of my favorite ways to get great content is to watch discussion boards for especially useful and well thought out posts. I'll then contact each poster and, depending on how complete the post is, either ask for permission to reprint it with a link to their site, or ask them if they'd consider expanding it just a bit into a complete article. I make it clear that I'll give them proper credit and a live link to their site.

What a great idea! Think I'll be using that one from now on 🙂
