A while back, I made the following YouTube video that showed how and where to update your Yoast WordPress SEO plugin settings to take advantage of “Google Authorship.”
Things have changed a bit, but I'm too lazy to re-shoot the video. So I'll explain where the changes are.
- First off, you have to install and activate the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin. Duh, right?
- Next, on the left-hand side of your WordPress dashboard, click on “SEO.”
- Then “Social.”
- Then click on the Google+ tab.
- THAT'S where you need to input your Google+ profile URL and your Google+ page URL (if you have one).
Thanks for the tip, Bill. I have been using WordPress for my Coral Gables Real Estate blog for about four years. Just signed up for a Google+ account. Was looking on how I would link it to my blog. Came across this post. Appreciate your help.
Thant’s awesome, Ashley! Make sure you read the instructions as well as watch the video. I haven’t made time to update the video since the location of the Google+ authorship information has changed with the latest updates from Yoast.
