There is a lot of talk about how “content is king,” how content marketing is the next new thing (that's been around for years), and how the big boys are using content marketing (aka, publishing) to build bigger more relevant audiences and sell more stuff.
I'm not here to convince you that any of the above is right or wrong – for you.
I've decided – for myself – that it's the right thing to be doing. I just need to get better at it.
To be clear, I think there's a lot to it.
I'm “reading” (in quotes because I used one of my credits I got when I signed up to Audible) a book called “Content Inc.” by Joe Pulizzi of the Content Marketing Institute.
In it, he tells not only why it's important to publish quality content but also how.
There are a ton of gems in this book.
I encourage you to get your hands on it.
