Two Dozen Ways to Get Backlinks

Two Dozen Ways to Get BacklinksI answered a question today on Yahoo! Answers about ways to get backlinks to your website. Here are 24!

  1. Comments on blogs. Many allow you to input your website URL.
  2. Articles
  3. Directories
  4. Niche directories
  5. Profile links
  6. RSS
  7. Web 2.0 properties like Squidoo, Blogger, and WordPress.com
  8. Social bookmarking / networking sites like digg, twitter, Mr Wong
  9. Facebook
  10. PPC – technically, they are links back to your website that you pay for.
  11. Forum signatures
  12. Forum comments
  13. Press releases
  14. Answer sites like Yahoo Answers :)
  15. One-way link services
  16. Hiring somebody on Fiverr (or elsewhere) to link back to your website
  17. Write an ebook, ask people to review your work
  18. Guest blog
  19. Get a guest blogger. He will do what it takes to get his post (on your site) read by others.
  20. Craigslist
  21. ebay
  22. YouTube (put your link right in the description of your uploaded video)
  23. Publish "software" and upload to download.com
  24. Get or make a WordPress theme (PLR or free), put your link in the footer

That's two dozen. All are viable.

guest-postingYou might have heard of my friend and blogging consultant, Chris Garrett. He wrote the Problogger book with Darren Rowse.

Well he has a new ebook out that tells you everything you need to know to get quality authority links and a boost in traffic, all through a quick and easy approach to guest blogging.

Right now he is offering it for the crazy low introductory price of only $10. The price has already increased once, and is sure to go up again as the reviews and testimonials start to pour in, so make sure you grab your copy and check out all the bonuses fast.
